Learn about the program. Speak with teachers and current parents. Tour our campus with our best spokespeople: our 8th graders.
As the school’s journalists, part of our 8th graders’ (13s’) job is to report on the happenings of the school. Here’s what they’re saying about different age Groups:
On our 2s—"The 2s are getting used to longer days, Yard, and sharing. They have also started looking at picture books. They may be young, but they are all original."
On our 5s—"Using their past knowledge of the proportionate metrics of the blocks, they are starting... [a] study of math without even realizing it."
An interview with one of our 6s—”We have been writing books about things that have happened to us.”
On our 9s—"Social Studies is a big part of the IXs this year, where they will be studying the Oregon Trail and the Lewis and Clark expedition. ”We are doing a ton of map work,” [one 9] said. They are also drawing diagrams of mountains on paper and then naming the different parts."
