The C&C community of parents is in the business of celebrating our children and the School. Led by the Parents Association, C&C makes sure that we all take time out to celebrate each other with three events every year.
Annual Spring Benefit
The marquee C&C event is the Annual Spring Benefit. Led by parent chairs, and in close consultation with the Development Office, the Annual Spring Benefit is the one and only celebration for the adults in the community, therefore becoming the most popular event on the calendar. It is a fun-filled night out, integrating elements of entertainment, great eats, and extraordinary auction items. It's a time to catch up with friends and celebrate C&C alongside our teachers and staff members. The Annual Spring Benefit is a very important fundraising event for C&C, and we hope that the entire community will participate.
The Harvest Festival in October is the first celebration of the school year. Occurring on a crisp weekend in the fall, this event is a time when parents turn the School into a fun, fair-like atmosphere for the children featuring games, wares and delectable fare. Lower School children enjoy the activities while many of the older students sell handcrafted items, host booths and cook, all to raise funds for the School.
The Spring Fair takes place in May, when the air begins to thaw and the children begin to leave their coats in the rooms as they take to the Yards. The Fair also features an amazing line-up of food, games, dance, music, and the famous cake decorating contest! The 13s get involved in the planning process to celebrate their final Spring Fair. On this day, C&C also invites alumni of all ages back to the School to visit with one another, enjoy favorite places in the School, and reminisce about their days at C&C.
