As you enter C&C’s 13th Street Lobby, you’ll find on your right a rotating display of treasures from the C&C Archives. On exhibit now: a look at children’s work with clay through the decades at C&C. This curated collection includes photos of children immersed in creation, as well as finished pieces sprung from artistic imaginings and the culmination of deep research. Be sure to take a moment to soak up these evocative images of creative expression in the making, as well as the menagerie of animals, human figurines, and vessels that have been carefully preserved in the C&C Archives.

Exhibit Caption in the Case:

Art at C&C: We believe art is a fundamental and natural part of the human experience. All children have a natural curiosity and instinct for creative expression, and art is an experience to be lived and shared.

Clay is a basic art material used by all children at C&C to create art.
