A Celebration of the Lives of Stephen Antonakos and Gino Crocetti ’59

Support City and Country > A Celebration of the Lives of Stephen Antonakos and Gino Crocetti ’59

In March and April 2020, we tragically lost two beloved, long-time community members to COVID-19: C&C Carpenter Steve Antonakos and faculty member and alumnus Gino Crocetti ’59. Their passings were terrible blows to us all, and their absences are still felt deeply across the school.

We were finally able to honor them with an in-person memorial service on May 25—you can watch the recording below. We have also established a fund to support a cause they both held dear, the C&C Shop.

ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS:

Stephen Antonakos
(August 16, 1957–March 26, 2020),
City and Country School Carpenter

Gino Crocetti ’59
(October 18, 1945–April 6, 2020),
City and Country School Teacher

GINO’S AND STEVE’S PLACE

This fund has been established in celebration of the lives of Stephen Antonakos and Gino Crocetti ’59, beloved members of the City and Country School community lost to COVID-19. Donations will support the building of a permanent Shop space at C&C, which was important to Steve, our Carpenter, and Gino, who built many projects in the Shop. It will be a place where our community can remember Steve and Gino, and how much they loved C&C.
