C&C welcomes Prospective Families and Educators to visit at scheduled times throughout the year. Please note that at this time, in-person visits are on hold due to COVID-19.
Virtual Information Session
City and Country School is a co-ed institution for children ages two through eighth grade, located in the West Village of Manhattan. We would be delighted to see you at a Virtual Information Session where you can learn about our innovative progressive model. Despite our physical distance, we want to give you a glimpse of the traditions and dynamism of our school which was founded in 1914.The sessions will include an interactive presentation from our admissions team, plus a live Q&A with current parents. Click here to learn more and to register.
Our annual Open House is an opportunity for prospective families to learn more about our program and to speak with our teachers, current parents, and our finest spokespeople–our eighth-graders. Attendees are not required to submit an application prior to the event, but RSVP is required. Click here to learn more and to register.
Educators Information Session and Tour
If you are an educational consultant or nursery school director interested in learning more about our programs or referring a student to our school, please email Director of Admissions Elise Bauer at EliseB@cityandcountry.org.
Educator Classroom Visits
Caroline Pratt always hoped to spread her philosophy of progressive education far beyond the walls of City and Country School. To that end, C&C has created programs to introduce teachers from other schools and backgrounds to our program. Educator Visits allow outside teachers and administrators to observe our program in action during the school day at C&C. To learn more and request a visit, please click here. (Please note that educator visits are not being held at this time because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.)
