Admissions Events
We are delighted to announce upcoming spring info sessions and tour dates for interested families.
You’re invited to see the school in action, meet our team, and learn more about C&C’s innovative approach to education.
At this event, our exceptional teachers and current families will help you discover what makes our historically significant progressive program dynamic, engaging, and imperative. You’ll also be able to tour our campus with our very best spokespeople: our current eighth graders! While the material will cover children ages 2 – 13, attendance at this event is for current fifth-graders through adults. Please RSVP using the blue buttons below.
The 2024-2025 application deadline has passed; rolling applications will be considered if space allows. If you would like to submit a late application, or learn more about C&C, please email eliseb@cityandcountry.org with your name, telephone number, and your child’s name and age. We look forward to speaking with you.
Block Workshops for Applicant Parents
These events have passed. Experience the significance of C&C’s Blocks program. Participants will have an opportunity to do hands-on work with blocks (the invention of our founder, Caroline Pratt), and in the process gain a deeper understanding of the many learning opportunities this material presents to children. There’s more to block work than meets the eye!

At City and Country School, diversity is a positive aspect of our lives and an essential element of education. We recognize and respect that diversity exists in the languages we speak, the colors of our skin, our gender identities, gender expressions, ages, and sexual orientations, the traditions we observe, the structures of our families, the financial and educational resources in our families, and the special needs we may have. Join several C&C Group teachers along with Director of Community Life, Equity, and Inclusion, Kim Momoh, as they describe the important DEIB work underway at C&C.

Get to know City and Country School on a deeper level! We’ll be bringing together a broad range of members of the C&C community to share personal stories and experiences from their time at our century-old institution in the West Village. So, come meet our security guard, kitchen staff, school nurse, and many more important people at C&C who aren’t included in your typical admissions process.
Meet the Grads
This event has passed; a recording will be posted soon.
Meet the Grads is one of our most popular and informative events, where families have the opportunity to hear C&C alumni talk about their high school experiences. This year, members of the C&C Class of 2020, now high school seniors, will join us to discuss how their time at C&C impacted their transition into high school and thinking about college.
Open House
This event has passed. Please register for an information session to see the school, meet our team, and learn more about C&C’s unique approach to education.
An excellent opportunity to meet our exceptional teachers and current families, our Open House will provide attendees with more information about what makes our historically significant progressive program dynamic and engaging. You’ll also be able to tour our campus with our best spokespeople: our Eighth Graders! The Open House is designed for grownups, so please leave little ones at home; however, if your child is applying for 6th grade or older, they’re welcome to tag along and join us as we proudly show and tell what distinguishes our school.
