Blocks Workshops for Prospective Families!

    > Blocks Workshops for Prospective Families!

We are delighted to announce our Block Workshops for Prospective Families

By spending time in a City and Country School classroom doing hands-on work with unit blocks (working in just the way our students do), you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the learning opportunities the blocks present to children. You’ll also experience a taste of C&C’s teaching style and learn more about our overall approach to education.

Here’s what some past participants said about the C&C Block Workshop:

“The block building workshop was an incredible experience.”

“[It was] far more challenging and required a lot more in-depth questioning and teamwork than I had anticipated.”

“Especially after my husband participated in the block workshop, we do feel that City and Country embodies many of the values that we are looking for in a school and helps its children develop important skills, such as independent thought and cooperation, which are necessary for navigating our complicated world.”

“Holy smokes! That’s just like what I do at work! Doing what I do at work as a full-blown adult, but at a block workshop.”

We invite you to attend a Block Workshop even if you haven’t applied for admission just yet. There are two upcoming opportunities to build with us—one on December 12, and another on January 25, each from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Click here to register for Tuesday, December 12.
Click here to register for Thursday, January 25.

There’s no need to be an artist or an architect! We ask that you wear comfortable clothing and bring an appetite for snacks and drink. We look forward to seeing you at the workshops. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,

The C&C Admissions Team
