These funds make a lasting impact on the future of City and Country School.

The Endowment

In celebration of our Centennial Year, a campaign was launched to significantly increase the School’s endowment fund. The City and Country School endowment is a valuable tool in providing long-term financial support for the school.  It ensures our long-term stability, provides an added layer of support, and sometimes funds specific initiatives.  All donations make a lasting impact on the future of City and Country School.

Gino’s and Steve’s Place

This fund was established in celebration of the lives of Stephen Antonakos and Gino Crocetti ’59, beloved members of the City and Country School community lost to COVID-19. Donations will support the building of a permanent Wood Shop space at C&C, which was important to Steve and Gino, who built so many projects in the Shop. It will be a place where our community can remember them and how much they loved C&C.

The Sarah Verdone Fund

This fund was established in 2010 to celebrate the life of Sarah Verdone, mother of Josephine ’09 and Louisa ’15. Sarah was a tireless volunteer and a diversity and equity advocate during her time as a C&C parent.  The fund, set up by her family, offers additional non-tuition support for students on financial aid. Caring for the C&C community in this way was a cause that was near to Sarah’s heart.
