Creative Offerings Faculty Tradition Returns

    > Creative Offerings Faculty Tradition Returns

Just before break, Creative Offerings for our faculty and staff community, a pre-pandemic tradition, returned. Four one-hour after school sessions were offered, and light refreshments were served.

  • Art with Molly in the Art Tower
  • Storytelling with Jay in the VIIIsJ
  • Shop with Maggie in Shop
  • Rhythms with Kate

Molly re-introduced the series with an invitation. “Honestly, I cannot take credit for anything more than listening to many teachers expressing interest in having Creative Offerings,” she said. “Natalie and Lisa P. helped make it happen.”

Coined “professional envelopment” by Kate, the gatherings strengthen the community and bonds of friendship within C&C.

“The opportunity to share delightful conversations, touching on the hot topics of life both in and out of the workplace, has undoubtedly brought us closer together,” said Maggie. “Let’s continue to resource ourselves through these meaningful interactions and keep the spirit of camaraderie alive.”

Said one participant, “Even after a long day, I was surprised how simple and uplifting this was!”
